The client sought a larger, more comfortable home for their family of seven, facing issues with poor natural light and ventilation in their current living space. The plot, measuring 15' x 95', had shared walls on the longer sides and open spaces at the front and back. They requested five bedrooms, common areas, and utility spaces to suit their growing needs.

The design aimed to address the challenges of limited light and ventilation in a narrow plot. The home was divided into three sections: the west for minimal-use spaces, the central area for family activities, and the east for spaces requiring connection to the outdoors, like bedrooms and balconies. Skylights, designed in conical shapes, were added for dynamic lighting. Triple-height volumes enhanced light penetration, while turbo ventilators above the stairwell improved airflow.

The site faced challenges from shared walls and nearby buildings. The east side, however, provided unobstructed light and views, so the primary living areas are placed there. Skylights and openable shutters allowed natural light and cross-ventilation. The elevation design balanced aesthetics and functionality, ensuring a bright, airy home.
